Kevin McGarry Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2025, at the age of 72, Kevin McGarry (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Patrick Martin McGarry and Patricia Joan McGarry; his in-law Dr. William J. Friesen; and his former wives, Marie Friesen and Dr. Donna Patton Friesen.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Kate (John Toole); his grandchildren, JJ, Anya and Logan Anne (Calgary); his son Declan (Heather); his grandchildren, Mary Hollon and Fenton (Nashville); his son Connor (Mandy); his grandchildren, Cleary and Miller Grace (Ottawa); his siblings, Pat (Melanie), Deirdre (Don), Anne (Charles), Geraldine (Brian) and Martin (Candice); and his sister-in-law Ida Marie Threadkell (Brian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
