He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Ragnheidur (Ranka); his grandson Zachary; his sister Valerie; and his sister-in-law Trudy.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his children, Chad (Charlene) and Dawn (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kristjan and Erik (Delaney); his siblings, David (Judy), Stephen, Dennis (Bernice) and Shelley (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Lorman (Veronica) and Sandra (Greig).
