He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Hill; his stepfather Dorfey Hill; his father Joseph Houle; his aunts and uncles, Pat Campbell, Martha Catcheway (Alphonse), Elsie Catcheway (Fred), Helen Campbell (David) and Margaret McIntyre (Lloyd); and his siblings, Mervyns Houle (Violet), Howard Houle (Audrey), Dolores Houle and Peggy Hunter.
He is survived by: his daughter Unice Ross; his grandchild Jerritt Ross; his great grandchildren, Catalina, Elena, Xander and Aries; his sons, Alphonse, Colin Jr. and Stephen Traverse; his great grandchildren, Yvonne Chartrand, Ayva Skye, Kristopher George and Rolondo Arthur; his brother Dennis Hill; his friends, Ebb and Flow of Manitoba; his siblings, Grace Hardman (Ron) and Paul Hill (Leona); his aunt Bertha Campbell of Skownan Manitoba; his siblings, Bernice Mousseau, Bertha Houle, Valerie Moar, Mary Tillotson, Lorna Houle, Arlene Mousseau (Darren), Noella Monkman (Richard), Manuel Houle (Renita) and Gerald McKay (Eileen); his brothers-in-law, Douglas Mousseau and Ron Hunter; his daughter Lake St. Martin Chief; Shane, Marsha Chartrand, Vincent, Kingsley, Christine, Breanne, Macie and Nina. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives.
A wake was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E1R1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
