She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Driedger and Helen Driedger (Jacob Schapansky) of Grunthal, Manitoba.; and her son James Schapansky (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Helen Schapansky of Niverville, MB; her children, Gary (Kris Schapansky) of Petersburg, ON, Valerie (Steven Belknap) and Carl (Tammy Schapansky) of Garson, MB; and her grandchildren, Joanne Schapansky (Josh Plantz), Steven Schapansky (Meaghan Giesbrecht) and Jake Schapansky.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mennonite Central Committee or Our Daily Bread.
