He was predeceased by: his son Grant Davey; his grandson Justin Davey; his parents, Vitaline Davey and Henry Davey; and his siblings, Gordon, Morley Davey, Edward Davey, Rose Carriere, Lou Burton, Myrna Davey and Anne McGinnis.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Burwash; his children, Gary Davey, Kim Amundsen (Keith), Rhonda Desorcy (Larry) and Joanne Davis; his stepdaughter Jackie Brown (Kal); his sisters, Clara Brazeau, Martha Lachance (Kelly) and Elaine Matiation; and his brothers-in-law, Geoff Burton and Lawrence McGinnis. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Leo's memory to Alzheimer's Society.
