He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Brandon-Lee Roy, DJ, Moses and Mary Clair; his parents, Lydia McKay and John Mekanak; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Darius, Dravon, Khalita, Acen and Faith; and his siblings, Lisa Mekanak, Ruth Mekanak, Lanny and Lee Mekanak. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
