She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Wayne; her parents, Max and Nettie; her daughter Delainie (Armin); her granddaughter Olivia; her siblings, Kurt and Judy (Mike); her niece Therese; and her great-niece Rowan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to a no-kill shelter be made or a flower to attract monarch butterflies is planted in memory of her.
