We announce the death of Lois Hopkinson in Winnipeg, Manitoba, born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 103. Lois will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry "Hap" Hopkinson; her parents, George Harris and Ethel Harris; her brothers, Jack and Bill Harris; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Terry (Maureen), Ron (Janet), George (Cris), Rick (Laurie) and Val (Rob); her grandchildren, Sarah (Rajat), Jonathan (Nicole), Todd (Heather), Ryan (Melanie), Lauren, Riley (Nicole), Justin and Brendon (Milica); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Priya, Rohan, Dixon, Avery, Madeline, Carter, Hunter, Mila and Shea.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coutu Funeral Home (680 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0Y4).
