He was predeceased by: his wife Effie; his daughter Sharon; his son-in-law Earl Firth; his parents, William Tataryn and Teenie Tataryn; and his siblings, Lawrence Tataryn and Mary Zambik.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Tataryn (Judith), Sandra Boutcher and Dr. Brian Tataryn (Kristin); and his grandchildren, Laura, Emily, Alex, Geoffrey, Sarah and Katherine. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
