She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller Dobie and Ella Dobie (Harris); her siblings, Mildred Ella Creegan (John), James Austin Dobie (Lorraine) and George Miller Dobie (Sheila); her brother-in-law Roy Schermerhorn (Marion); her niece Linda Joan Creegan Peterson; and her granddaughter Tara Michelle Shermerhorn.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Luke Shermerhorn; her children, Marilyn Marie Coulthard-Johnson (Ray) and Glen Douglas Shermerhorn; her grandchildren, Ryan (Kristin), Morgan Coulthard (Samia), Jessi Castillo (Danny), Molly Shermerhorn and Maggie Shermerhorn (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Shaun (MacKenzie), Miranda, Angelique, Tavin, Brady, Lily, Katie, Benjamin, Michael, Blade, Booklyn, Porter, William, Taylor and Lennie.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bardal Funeral Home (843 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg, MB R3A1M6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Genealogical Society, or a Shelter for Abused Women.
