He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Quinton and Tyson; his parents, Jan Filipecki and Grazyna Filipecki; and his brother Matthew.

Due to Covid, an intimate and private celebration to mark Luke's life will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to CancerCare in Luke's name.
