She was predeceased by: her husband Ike; her parents, Aron Thiessen and Helen Thiessen; and her siblings, Dorothy, Margaret, John and Harry.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Friesen (Penny), Donald Friesen (Christine), Peggy Martens (Robert) and Florence Friesen. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Mennonite Church (465 Stafford St, Winnipeg, MB R3M2E2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Green Acres Cemetery (1 Green Acres Ln, Navin, MB R5T0H2).
