She was predeceased by: her husband Johann Thorsteinsson (Joe); and her son Johann. She is survived by: her children, Arnar (Jeanet), Karol (Jennifer), Hildur (Hannes) and Valur of Iceland; her grandsons, Anthony and Duncan; her great grandchild Sophia; and her siblings, Brynhildur and Fridthjofur. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
