He was predeceased by: his great grandchildren, Jessica and Chloe; his parents, Max Collette and Cecile; his brother Roland; and his siblings-in-law, Viviane, Marthe (Antonio), Sylvio Fillion, Lucille Morin, Cyprien Morin, Anita Pelland, Adrien Pelland, Simone Fillion, Paul Damphousse, Celine Parent, Lionel Parent and Claire Fillion.

He is survived by: his children, Monique (Ray Mayner), Leon, Rachelle (Norbert Tessier), Norbert (Gisele), Gaby (Diane), Helene (Raymond Croteau), David (Christine), Andre, Herve (Dania) and Reynald (Kristine); his sister Gisele (Allan Labossiere); and his in-laws, Yvon Fillion, Gilberte Fillion, Fernande Damphousse, Denise Collette, Gisele Collette and Francoise Compagna. He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
