She was predeceased by: her husbands, Gerard Genest and Leonard Marcoux; her son Ronald; her parents, Adelaide Parent and Joseph Loiselle; and her siblings, Edouard, Antonin (Tony), Armand Loiselle and Rita Barnabé.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine (Gerrie), Bisson (Gilles), Suzanne Desmarais (Léo), Robert (Lise), Gilles, Daniel (Audrey), Charles (Carolyn), Paul (Annette) and Léonard (Geneviève); and her sister-in-law Rogeanne Genest. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
