She is survived by : her husband Gene Shalai; her daughter Natalie; her grandchildren, Johnny and Jemma; her sister Helen; her aunt Camille; her uncle Franz; her niece Pamela; her nephews, Brent and Corey; and her siblings-in-law, Jimm and Diane.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3V7).
