Margaret ALMA Strachan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret ALMA Strachan (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Inez Hazzard; and her siblings, Alban, Claude, Martin, Walwin and Sybil (Trinidad).
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Strachan; her children, Larry (Zilla Jones) and Leisha; her grandsons, Jericho and Kamil; her brother Peter (Babsie); and her sibling's children, Tony and Wendy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Xxiii Parish (3390 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K0Z3).
