She was predeceased by: her parents, Katarzyna Putko and Piotr Putko. She is survived by: her husband Kazimierz; her children, Adrian (Vanessa) and Victoria (Vlad); and her siblings, Jaroslaw Putko, Halina Brewka and Bożena Maciejuniec.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society designated to research in honour of Maria Czajkowski.
