She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Perky"; and her parents, Anne and Nick. She is survived by: her children, Anna (Wayne) and Jim (Julie-Ann); her grandson Stephen; and her sister-in-law Sally. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Marianne was an active member in her community and volunteered with both the Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
