Marilyn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marilyn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Marilyn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Wilkinson and Nina Wilkinson; her brother Brian Wilkinson (Walter Melnyk); her son Jeff Melnyk; and her grandson Michael Willows.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice; her children-in-law, Brent and Diana Martinson; and her grandson Christopher.
Marilyn supported dozens of charitable causes, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Operation Smile, Canadian Wildlife Fund, UNICEF, Siloam Mission, or Doctors Without Borders.
