She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Peter D. Friesen and Margaret; her former husband Dave Goertzen; her brothers, Vern Friesen and Al Friesen; and her siblings-in-law, Myrna Friesen, Margaret Goertzen, John Penner, Katherine Penner, Ernest Dyck and Mary Dyck.
She is survived by: her husband Jake Warkentin; her son Riley Goertzen (Lorraine); her grandchildren, David and Allison; her children, Audrey Goertzen and Larry Goertzen (Becky); her granddaughter Amy Doell (Scott); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Jared and William; her brothers, Don Friesen (Anne), Norm Friesen and Ralph Friesen (Hanna); her siblings-in-law, Carol Friesen, Irma Friesen, Bill Goertzen (Donna) and Irvin Goertzen (Helen); her stepchildren, DJ Warkentin (Jacqueline), Janet Warkentin-Bosse (Aart) and Rod Warkentin (Diane); her siblings-in-law, Henry Warkentin (Katie), George Warkentin (Elfrieda) and Adina Wall; and also, Nicole Young (Chris), Devon, Aurora, Jim Goertzen (Darra), Tayiah and Evan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
