It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Witzke (Winnipeg, Manitoba) is shared. Mary, born on January 25, 1933 in Rosenort, Manitoba, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Witzke (Hans); her sister Annie Schmidt; and her father Franz. She is survived by: her daughter Helga; her sister Tina Froese; her niece Caroline; and her nephews, Ed (Susan Schmidt), Erich (Ruby) and David (Janice Schmidt).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Friends Funeral Service (2146 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2V3S5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Mary supported Bethania PCH and Epic Opportunities and expressed that any charity donated in her honour could be made to these organizations which were dear to her.
