It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen Lillian Edna Ellerton (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Ellerton and Iris Ellerton; her husband Tom Ransome; her brothers, Russell and Marty Ellerton; and her sister-in-law Lynne.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Brown (Bill), Kimberly Friesen (Ed) and Lance Vandale (Karla); her grandsons, Zachary Brown, Dylan Friesen (Kyra) and Bradley Friesen (Kyla); her great grandchildren, Cohen and Hailey Friesen; her brother Dean Ellerton; and her niece Shannon Ellerton. She is also survived by Grandma who adored her grandsons.

It should be no surprise that her exit was unexpected and that it happened during a blizzard and during a pandemic, three days before Christmas.
