He was predeceased by : his wife Mary; his parents, Molly and Nicholas; his brothers, John, Dick, Bill and Alex; and his son-in-law Douglas Manitowich.

He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Manitowich and Donna Topp; his grandsons, Derek Manitowich and Bryan Topp (Emma); his great grandchildren, Ella, Marin Manitowich and Kaden Topp; and his siblings, Peter (Agnes) and Mary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
