He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Rennie and Eva Rennie; his uncles, Erroll and Noel; and his aunt Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Indira Rampersad; his son Anatol Rennie of Winnipeg; his brother Harold Rennie (Ariel Harper Nave) of Halifax; his nephew Colin Rennie (Jenna Romano); his niece Katherine Rennie-DesChamp (Laura DesChamp); his great-nephew Oliver Rennie-West of Halifax; his uncle Walter Rennie of Cannington, ON; and his pet Bobby. He is also survived by in-laws and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (1707 John Brebeuf Pl, Winnipeg, MB R3N2A2).
The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made in the name of Michael Rennie to Médecins sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders or to Accueil francophone.
