With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nellie (Aniela) Mikawos (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nellie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nellie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley; her son Stanley; and her daughter-in-law Lynda. She is survived by: her granddaughter Erica Mikawos; her great grandchild Tyler (Kaytlynn); and her siblings, Anna and Mykolaj. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
