He was predeceased by: his brother Walter; his parents, Victor and Helen; and his brothers, August and Orest.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine of Winnipeg; his children, Deborah (Ferris) of Winnipeg and Dean (Deanna) of Victoria, BC; his grandchildren, Kalen and Ida; and his siblings, Carl of St. Paul, Alberta, Victoria Horbas of Winnipeg and Susan Pachkowski of Kitchener, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Garry Cemetery (826 Crescent Dr, Winnipeg, MB R3T1X2). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the Fort Garry Cemetery (1960 Rte 52, Winnipeg, MB R2V2B6).
