She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Spence and Hazel Spence; and her siblings, Blake Spence and Shirley Beairsto. She is survived by: her children, Gloria (Reggie), Gail (Myron), Jim (Gail) and Kevin (Rachel); and her grandchildren, Tanya, Jason, James, Michelle, Colleen, John, Ethan and Benjamin. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
