He is survived by : his partner Marion; his sister Phyllis (Bob); his children, Doug (Kim), Tim, Jeff and Esther (Bart); his nephews, Robert (Kim) and Derek (Karen); his grandchildren, Kristen (Matthias), Chase, Karlie (Jeremy) and Haley (Brandon); his extended family, Rob, Aynsley, Jonah, Shanli (Jonathan), Ryan, Tyler (Katie) and Matthew (Jordyn); and his friends, Percy, Debbie, Bill, Shirley, John and Millie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
