He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Olabisi; his son Olamidiwura; his siblings, Olakunle, Olanrewaju, Kikelomo and Olalekan Awoyemi; and his caregiver Melanie.
He was among the board of director of Stem Hub Foundation Canada.
