It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Nicolas (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Steven; his parents, Eugène Nicolas and Lucienne Nicolas; his sisters, Jeannine (Emile Carrière) and Lorraine (Rod Matheson); and his nephew Richard.

He is survived by: his significant other Stella; his stepdaughter Darlene; and his siblings, Louis (Donna) of Beausejour, MB, Florent (Carole) of Whitehorse, YT, Louise Broesky (Norman) of La Broquerie, MB, Alice Doroshuk (Lenard) and Evelyne Vien (Roger) of Winnipeg, MB. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
