We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 95, Oskar Layer (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz and Katherine; his sister Lili; and his nephew John Haidt. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, Rob (Annegret), Lil (Ron Kozussek) and Rick (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Wes, TJ (Janet), Brian (Amy), Andy and Heidi.
