He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Emilien and Ernestine; his siblings, Anna, George and Thérèse Trudel (Aimé); his brother-in-law André Barnabé; his sister Marie Deschene (Daniel); his brother-in-law Leslie Lipischak; his sister Claire Lagassé (Auguste); his brother-in-law Stan Robertson; his siblings, Yvette Lambert (Henri) and Maurice (Marcelle); his siblings-in-law, Alfred Marion, Claude Gosselin and Carol Bergmann; his grandson René; and his sister Jeanne Lipischak.

He is survived by: his great-grandparent Ronald Desrosiers; his children, Ronald Desrosiers (Debra Acton) and Deanna Richardson (Merv); his grandchildren, Monique Huberdeau (Pat), Ryan Desrosiers, Nathan Desrosiers (Holly), Ecko Baldwin, Kaylan and Luke Richardson; his great grandchildren, Arianne, Brielle, Marco Huberdeau and Parker Paul Desrosiers; his sisters, Léonne Barnabé, Celine Robertson, Estelle Marion, Simone Gosselin and Bertille Croteau (Lucien); his sister-in-law Edith Desrosiers; and his brothers, Robert Desrosiers (Sharon) and Guy Desrosiers (Claire). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
