He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Loewen and Maria Loewen (Hildebrandt). He is survived by: his wife Tina (Winter); his children, Jim (Lori), Eleanor (Allen) and Anthony (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ashley (Leo), Landon (Heidi), Carmen, Jared and Ryland; and his great grandchild Marcus.
