He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Jacob M Pauls and Maria Pauls; and his brother Harry Pauls (Elizabeth). He is survived by : his wife Madeline May Pauls; his sons, Ken Pauls and Steven Pauls; his grandchildren, Dylan, Haley and Adam Pauls; his stepgrandchildren, Christian, Julian and Gabriel Steeds; and his siblings, Rev. Jacob Pauls (Dorothy), Tinie Sawatzky (Eldon), Mary Giesbrecht (John), John Pauls (Norma) and Alvin Pauls (Judith).
