He was predeceased by : his parents, Maria Doerksen (Thiessen) and Jacob G. Doerksen; and his wife Justina Doerksen (Wall). He is survived by : his daughters, Linda (Nik), Debra (Rowan), Rowan and Christine; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenni), Tina (Kyle) and Rebecca (Cohle); and his great grandchildren, Micah, Peter, Ridd, Njiva, Levi, Connor, Judah and Henry.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at 26 Norm, Ethel Brockington Newman. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Green Acres Funeral Home.
