He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jacob Toews (J. J.) and Lena Toews; his brother Mel (Whitney); and his great grandchild Liam. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his sister Carolyn (Bob); his children, Kim (Mark), Sandi (Cyril), Bonnie (Todd), Angie (Rennie) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Jessica (Scott), Heather (Dex), Kari, Carly (Kurt), Jadon, Suzanne (Travis), Tyler (Emily), Austin (Angéline), Danielle (Evan), Jen (Rylan), Shelby and Sara; and his great grandchildren, Theo, Lena and Sarah.
