She was predeceased by : her parents, William Williams and Katherine Williams (Reichert); and her brother Ron Williams (Jean). She is survived by : her husband Walter; her children, Val Marie (Andy), Myles (Linda) and Lesley (Jason); her grandchildren, Ryan (Delaney), Duncan (Breanna), Rhett (Brooke), Jodie (Jamil), Karlie (Cam), Tyler (Kaylee), Dylan and Connor; and her great grandchild Harrison.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Coutu Funeral Chapel (680 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0Y4). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Parish (820 Cottonwood Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J1G1).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sandra Schmirler Foundation which funds equipment in support of premature and critically ill babies.
