She was predeceased by: her grandson Christian; her parents, Dave Kellen and Vera Kellen; and her sister Marleen Almen. She is survived by: her husband Albrecht; her children, Albert (Lisa) and Carleen (Graeme); her grandchildren, Emma, Rebecca and Clare; her great grandchild Lily Ruby; and her sisters, Freda McIssac and Alma Kissner.

In lieu of flowers the family have requested that donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) - Stroke Unit.
