He was predeceased by: his father Tom; his stepfather David Nicol; and his nephew Darren McGillis. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Nicol; his brother Ken (Sue); his nephew Dore; his sister Brenda Bilowus (Michael); his nephews, Adam and Eric; his stepsiblings, Clint Nicol (Rhonda) and Brenda Nicol (Lee); and also, Jordan (Justin) and Hailey.
