He is survived by: his daughter Evelyn Popko (Wesley); his grandchildren, Dakota, Joel, Selena, Dwayne and Jessica; and his sister Evelyn Maslanska. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (25 St NW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N3C2).
