He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Truss and Sonja Truss; his brother-in-law Bob Drimes; and his parents-in-law, Leo and Mary Boivin.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Maggie); his daughter Theresa Markowski (Arek); his siblings, Shirley Skwarchuk (Dan), Janet Drimes and John (Leslie); and his brothers-in-law, Leo and Bob Boivin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rick to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
