Richard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He is survived by: his caregivers, Emil, Paul, Kriz Paul, Mila, Hanna and Andre; his wife Pat Walls; and his siblings, Bruce Walls (Karen), Janice Briggs (Darcy) and Norma Anania (Bonaven).
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Masonic Memorial Center (420 Corydon Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3L0N8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Road Lodge, in recognition of Richard's lifelong commitment to housing, dignity and community.
