It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Braun-Janzen (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rick Braun-Janzen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Jake; his father-in-law Ernie; and his brother-in-law Carmine. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Braun; his daughter Erin (Phil); his grandson Anderson; his son Justin (Cecely); his mother Margret; his mother-in-law Anne; his siblings, Lorna (Clarence), Sandi and Ted (Laela); and his sisters-in-law, Carla (Andre) and Val (Paul). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Mennonite Central Committee.
