He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Shmigelsky and William Shmigelsky; his brother Martin; his son-in-law Harry Rehberg; and his brother-in-law Gary Diduch.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his daughters, Lorie Shmigelsky (Denis Desautels), Lynda Rehberg, Janet Krilyk (Jamie) and Jaylene Schroeder (Bruce); his grandchildren, Alysha Murdoch (Jacob Micflikier), Steven Rehberg (Anika), Natalie Reichert (Jakob), Kayla Stasiuk (Patrick), Nicole Krilyk (Derek Harbun), Kyle Schroeder and Sarah Schroeder; his great grandchildren, Lilyanna, Violet, Rin, Adeline, Everly and Jane; his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Jaclyn and Natalie Desautels; and his sister-in-law Lenore Diduch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
