With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roelofje Geerts of Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Hielkema and Grietje Hielkema; her husband Adriaan Pieter Geerts; her brother Gerrit Hielkema; and her daughter Margaret Miketon.

She is survived by: her sibling Waterman; her children, Tini Loiselle, Willem Geerts (Elaine), John Geerts and Sophie Geerts; her son-in-law Dave Miketon; and her sister Detty Arends. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren and various extended family.
