It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roman Pieczonka in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franczisek and Stefania; his siblings, Zygmunt and Maria; and his brothers-in-law, John Novak, Stan Novak and Aurèle Bremault.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Giselle (Dan), Tom (Andrea) and Edward (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sebastian, Alexandra, Nathanael, Elliot and Emma; and his sisters-in-law, Caroline Bremault and Olga Novak.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church (541 Marion St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0J9). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3V7). A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Ghost Cemetery (4387 Main St, Stony Mountain, MB R0C3A0).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Roman's memory to a charity of one's choice.
