He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and John; his sister Irene; and his nephew Andrew. He is survived by: his daughter Joy; his brothers, Maurice, Ernie and Wayne (Joanne); his nieces and nephews, Tracy, Lori, Cindy, Michael, Kelly, Steven and Jamie; and his aunt Helen Tomchuk.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Ron's memory may donate to St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church Sarto, or CancerCare Manitoba.
