He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Gayle Gulak; his wife Flo; his daughter Colleen; his son-in-law Glenn; his grandchildren, Chelsey and Mickayla Gulak; his siblings, Dorothy and Bob Hamel; his cousins, Terry and Marlene Rooney; his parents, Albert Hamel and Della Hamel (Galloway); and his former wife Florence. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
