He was predeceased by: his father Cornelius Fast; and his brother-in-law Ken Martens. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Fast; his sons, Derek and Eric; his wife Margaret; his grandchildren, Paul, Jennifer (Katherina), Derek, Heather, Eric, Janel (Harper), Jean-Luc and Hien; his siblings, Louise Martens, Katherine Ferrante (Peter), Frank (Lorraine), Alvin (Betty) and Karl (Janet); and his brother-in-law Harry Harms (Janis). He is also survived by sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
